• Create your first AI-assisted Shopify draft to generate and review an illustrated preview before creating an unpublished Shopify draft.
• Configure brand knowledge and save Settings safely to add approved brand facts and use Shopify’s native Save and Discard bar.
• Publish, schedule, and review an article to understand draft publishing, scheduled releases, and optional Pro approval enforcement.
• Create a blog article from a YouTube video to load video details and available captions, then review the complete unpublished draft.

A merchant-controlled workflow

1. Add approved brand, product, audience, and writing guidance in Settings.
2. Generate an article preview or start a manual visual draft.
3. Review the copy, images, alt text, links, product claims, and SEO presentation.
4. Create or save an unpublished Shopify draft.
5. Publish manually, or schedule the article when the active plan includes scheduling.

AI generation never publishes an article by itself. Firefly creates a Shopify draft only after you confirm the generated preview.

Storefront setup

Firefly has one Firefly Core app embed for shared article-page behavior and five optional article blocks: Article information, Author profile, Article summary, Social sharing, and Article seasonal ambience.

A Firefly theme deep link asks Shopify to open the Default blog post template and add the selected block as an unsaved preview. Review the theme and template, configure the block, and choose Shopify’s Save button before the change becomes part of the theme.

Plans and Firefly Tokens

Firefly-managed text and images share one Token balance. Paid allowances replenish on their subscription-based monthly allowance cycle, while purchased add-on Tokens do not expire and do not unlock plan-only features. An eligible merchant can receive one 14-day trial on the first paid subscription; changing plan or billing interval does not start another trial.
