Intro to Firefly Sky SEO Suite
Firefly Sky SEO helps Shopify merchants find SEO issues, improve search appearance, optimize images, manage indexing and redirects, and safely accelerate storefront pages from one app.
Who is this guide for?
This documentation is for Shopify store owners and staff who can open installed apps and, when needed, edit the online-store theme. Firefly Sky SEO works inside Shopify Admin. Available features and limits depend on your plan, store configuration, and theme.
Before you start
- Open Firefly Sky SEO from Shopify Admin.
- Choose your interface and optimization languages in Settings.
- Enable the Firefly Sky SEO App Embed in your active theme when the app prompts you. Storefront features such as safe speed optimization, redirects, access controls, and visitor probing depend on this embed.
- Run Page SEO Analysis and a PageSpeed test to create a baseline before changing anything.
Audits and scans only report what they find. Firefly Sky SEO changes Shopify content or theme behavior only after you explicitly save or apply a feature.
SEO essentials
- On-page SEO covers titles, meta descriptions, headings, content, links, and image alt text.
- Technical SEO includes crawlability, indexing, structured data, redirects, sitemaps, and performance.
- Search performance takes time. Use Search Console data and repeated audits to measure trends instead of expecting an immediate ranking change.
