Bulk SEO Editor
Use Bulk SEO Editor to review and update meta titles and meta descriptions across products, collections, pages, and blog articles from one workspace.
Where to find it: Shopify Admin → Apps → Firefly Sky SEO → Bulk SEO Editor.
Before you start
- Run Page SEO Analysis first so the editor has current page data.
- Prepare one primary keyword and a clear search intent for each page.
- AI Generate uses AI credits. Review every suggestion before saving it to Shopify.
Optimize a page
- Choose All, Products, Collections, Pages, or Blog Articles.
- Search by page title if you need a specific item.
- Review the current SEO score and open SERP Preview to see how the result may appear in search.
- Edit the Meta Title. Keep the main keyword natural and aim for about 50–60 characters.
- Write a useful Meta Description. The editor recommends roughly 150–160 characters.
- Select AI Generate when you want a draft, then revise it for accuracy and brand voice.
- Select Save to Shopify for that page.
Understanding the indicators
Critical pages need attention first. Warning pages have opportunities to improve. Character counters help prevent titles from being truncated and descriptions from being too short or too long.
Best practices
- Give every indexable page a unique title and description.
- Describe the actual page; avoid unsupported claims and keyword stuffing.
- Lead with the most important phrase, but keep the copy readable.
- Do not reuse the same description across many products.
- After major catalog changes, scan again and revisit low-scoring pages.
Save behavior: changes are not applied until you choose Save to Shopify for the relevant page. Search engines may take time to recrawl the updated metadata.
Troubleshooting
A page is missing
Return to Page SEO Analysis, run the appropriate scan, then reload Bulk SEO Editor.
AI Generate is unavailable
Check the AI credit balance shown in the editor. You can still write and save metadata manually.
